The 2025 Guizhou Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Guiyang Culture Fair commenced in Guiyang on Oct 22, launching a two-day event that integrates TCM culture promotion, education, experience, and free medical consultations. The fair showcases industrial achievements including TCM cultural and creative products, the integration of TCM into medical care, rehabilitation, and wellness, as well as health products and foods related to TCM.

This event serves as a practical initiative aimed at embedding TCM into daily life and public services. It demonstrates the appeal of TCM and allows residents to share in the outcomes of TCM development. By promoting the integration of TCM culture into production and daily life, TCM-related industries are able to grow and thrive in the city.

The fair featured a dedicated zone for free TCM consultations, where numerous experienced TCM experts were invited to provide complimentary health consultations and medical services. In the TCM product exhibition area, local pharmaceutical manufacturers displayed products such as locally produced Chinese patent medicines and distinctive Miao ethnic medicines.

The health and wellness products section highlighted a range of TCM cultural and creative products, along with health foods and products related to TCM. This area also served as a platform for exchange and collaboration among TCM manufacturers, research institutions, and wellness organizations, fostering in-depth cooperation across "industry, academia, research, and application".

The herbal cuisine and medicinal beverage tasting zone proved to be the most popular among attendees. Renowned catering enterprises and TCM culinary research institutions participating in the fair prepared a variety of health-preserving herbal dishes and specialty medicinal drinks that blend traditional wisdom with modern flavors for the public to sample. Detailed introductions were provided to residents for each item.
