Guizhou is known as a "mountain kingdom" with 92.5 percent of its land covered by mountains and hills. In recent years, it has explored an integrated development path of "mountain tourism +", transforming its mountainous resources into developmental advantages and achieving a positive interaction between ecological conservation and industrial growth.
During the conference, the International Mountain Tourism Alliance (IMTA) exchanged memoranda of cooperation with the Pacific Asia Travel Association, Everest Alliance Nepal, and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hubei Province to foster resource sharing and mutual learning, injecting new momentum into the sustainable growth of global tourism.
