Inside Big Data Expo 2025: A glimpse of tomorrow's tech

From Aug 28 to 30, the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2025 was held at the Guiyang International Conference and Exhibition Center. With the theme "Data Drives Industrial Momentum, Intelligence Unlocks the Future", the event drew worldwide attention.

The expo welcomed over 16,000 guests, including 168 international participants from 31 countries. It attracted 91,000 visits, released 90 theory reports, industrial standards, case studies, and technological achievements, and launched 100 digital economy projects with 46.3 billion yuan in investment.

Cutting-edge technologies in areas such as quantum computing, artificial intelligence, the low-altitude economy, and digital twins painted a vivid picture of a "Digital China". Highlights included Huawei's humanoid robotic hands, a dynamic map of eight national integrated computing hubs, and interactive robot dogs – showcasing China's growing strength in big data and AI.

The expo also highlighted how technology is transforming everyday life. The "AI Time-Travel Photo Studio", lab safety warning systems, AI-powered doctors, and the "Egg Chain AI Model" demonstrated how digital tools are improving healthcare, agriculture, and public services, helping ease resource gaps and boost efficiency.

As the core of China's first national big data pilot zone, Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area have witnessed the rapid rise of the industry. Branded as "China's Data Valley", the region has become a microcosm of China's high-quality digital economy.
