The Zhilu Qianyun Cultural Fair concluded on Sept 26 at the Huaguoyuan Art Palace in Nanming district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The immersive fair brought dozens of local intangible cultural heritage (ICH) traditions into an urban setting, featuring traditional crafts, cultural performances, music, and cultural creative products.

Highlights included Song brocade weaving, paper cutting, traditional incense making, Miao embroidery, batik, Dong embroidery, and ethnic silverwork. ICH inheritors and artisans also demonstrated their skills and offered hands-on experiences for visitors.

The event gave visitors opportunities to see, learn, and experience Chinese folk crafts while discovering the cultural heritage of Guizhou, offering a fresh way to bring traditional culture into everyday urban life.
