Jiaxiu Pavilion

Jiaxiu Pavilion stands as a witness to Guiyang's history and a symbol of its cultural development, often featured in countless advertisements and travel brochures. This ancient pavilion was built during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and once served as a place for tea and conversation in the past. It overlooks the Nanming River, which is often referred to as the city's "mother river".

Cuiwei Garden

Built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Cuiwei Garden comprises a large-scale group of ancient buildings. The garden features the simple and vivid arches of Gongnange Pavilion, the elegant and charming Cuiwei Pavilion, and the tranquil and shaded Longmen Academy. It currently serves as an exhibition hall for the works of Xiao Xian, a renowned calligrapher from Guiyang.
