Nanming micro film wins bronze

The award ceremony of the 6th Cimeigui Micro Film Festival was held in Chengde, Hebei province, on Dec 29, 2023. 

The film "I Really Care", produced by Nanming district in Southwest China's Guizhou province, won the Bronze Award, and the actress Hu Zimei, who played the lead role in the film, was awarded Best Actress.

Since its inception in 2016, the film festival has successfully held five editions and has received high recognition from industry experts and the general public.

"I Really Care" was directed by Tang Huang, a young director from Guizhou. It is an outstanding legal-themed film that was adapted from a true case. It tells the story of a wife's relentless pursuit of the truth after her husband, a city management officer, was killed by criminal forces.

Through its artistic expression, the film aims to show more people the stories behind the work of city management officers, as well as to pay tribute to "ordinary heroes".
