Qingyun Road in Nanming district was selected as part of the third batch of national-level nighttime cultural and tourism consumption agglomeration zones, according to a recent announcement by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Stretching from Zunyi Road in the west to Memorial Tower in the east, Qingyun Road is 1,041 meters long.
In 2020, an upgrade and renovation project was launched on the street to help maintain the historical and regional character of the city.
In January 2022, the Qingyun Road renovation project was completed, and it officially opened to the public.
The revamped road has transformed from a simple night market into a modern and trendy cultural block that integrates dining, cultural experiences, artistic leisure, and commercial shopping. As a seamless blend of tradition and modernity, it embodies the vibrant culture of the area.
