Guiyang's CRCC International Eco-City made an outstanding appearance as an exemplary case of community governance exploration in Nanming district at the 2023 World Cities Day China Observance·China City High-Quality Development Forum in Shanghai on Oct 29.
The "World Cities Day" is the United Nations' first international day based on this theme. It is held each year on Oct 31. This year marks its 10th anniversary.
Guiyang's CRCC International Eco-City, which made an appearance at the forum, has adopted a community co-governance model in which its residents participate.
This innovative approach is allowing Nanming to showcase its achievements in modern urbanization and community development.
Guiyang's CRCC International Eco-City has also made strides in improving its community support facilities, catering to residents' diverse needs for a better living environment.

Among the newly established facilities are the first batch of provincial-level integrated medical and elderly care pilot centers, the first equestrian sports center in Southwest China, neighborhood activity centers, residents' canteens, libraries, and sports fields.
In addition to upgrading its pre-existing facilities, Guiyang's CRCC International Eco-City also focuses on enhancing community operations at the family unit level.
It relies on the "Beautiful Home+" app to guide residents to participate in community governance, promoting the construction of a smarter and better integrated community.
By continuously strengthening this governance model and providing high-quality services, Guiyang's CRCC International Eco-City aims to build a warm and effective community service system.
