The National Exhibition of Clerical Calligraphy (Guiyang Station) opened at the Guiyang Art Museum in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Sept 1.
The exhibition was organized by the literature and art federation of Nanming district.

During the event, various programs showcasing the ethnic characteristics of Guizhou, such as ethnic musical instruments, ethnic costume shows, and recitations of short poems, were presented.
A total of 180 works were on display, including bamboo slips from the Qin and Han dynasties (221BC-220) and silk books. They collectively showcased the elegance, noble character, and exquisite craftsmanship of these works, offering a rich visual feast for the people of Guiyang.
