Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has continued to make efforts to standardize market order and promote the prosperity and healthy development of the cultural and tourism markets in the region.

Since the beginning of this year, Nanming has dispatched 310 law enforcement personnel, carried out more than 110 law enforcement inspections, and inspected the business operation of more than 290 enterprises involved in the cultural and tourism markets, safe production, and epidemic prevention and control.

It also carried out 12 rectification actions on entertainment venues, closed 16 unlicensed entertainment venues, and ordered the suspension of 11 commercial performances without fire permits.

In rectifying the publication market, Nanming resolutely curbed the spread of harmful publications involving politics, obscenity, and feudal superstitions.

Nanming also further optimized the complaint handling process to ensure that the market is standardized and orderly.

Since the beginning of this year, more than 500,000 yuan ($75,018.75) in economic losses have been recovered for tourists.

Additionally, Nanming has strengthened the supervision of safe production in the cultural and tourism market in its jurisdiction.

A total of 220 cultural and tourism enterprises and 153 general hidden dangers have been investigated, and 149 hidden dangers have been rectified thus far.
