The Nanming district of Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- recently issued the Nanming Industrial Investment Promotion Action Plan in 2021, which will reportedly help pave the way for a slew of new projects to be established there in the current year.

Under the plan, this year, Nanming plans to put 10 billion yuan ($1.50 billion) of funds in place for newly-introduced industrial projects, and the funds for key industrial projects are expected to account for 26 percent of the total.

A total of 110 new industrial projects are forecasted to be set up in the district. The construction rate of newly-introduced industrial projects is expected to reach 90 percent and the completed projects are projected to ramp up to 80 percent of production capacity in the current year.

Projects in electronic information, the digital economy, health care, business logistics, cultural and sports tourism, the headquarters economy, urban renewal and modern finance are reportedly the development priorities of Nanming district.

To achieve these goals, plans are for it to boost business marketing and promotion in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Yangtze River Delta, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area, and in Chengdu and Chongqing.

There are also plans to launch more attractive investment policies and roll out improved government services.
