To boost the integration of its tourism resources and cultural intellectual property, or IP, the Nanming district of Guiyang – capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – has carried out the intelligent transformation of infrastructure in the Nanming River Tourism and Leisure Area.
The district is establishing online and offline service platforms and applications for Mashang Nanming, Youping and the City Code and electronic information screens, as well as for the Nanming River Tourism and Leisure Area.
In doing so, it is expected to provide integrated digital services for residents, tourists and merchants in terms of dining, sightseeing, accommodation and transport.
By integrating tourism and cultural promotions – with tourist attraction ratings, tourism product sales and public services for residents – it's hoped that the revamped infrastructure will improve services and resources for consumers and merchants.
After the applications are launched, merchants will reportedly be able to get a lot of exposure and promotion, while tourists can easily inquire about and buy tourism products and residents can order meals and buy vegetables on the platform.
Meanwhile, backed by back-end reserves for its digital information, the district will also provide first-hand information for the government to make decisions on investment promotion, industrial layouts and tax incentives.
After many days of preparation, the applications equipment and facilities for the project have been installed. The offline applications equipment has been installed in five hotels and the installation of six electronic information screens has been completed.
The online port construction of the Mashang Nanming program has reportedly been basically completed, with various sections also undergoing debugging and integration before going online.
