Since being selected in 2022 as one of China's first pilot cities for youth-oriented urban development, Guiyang has rolled out a series of policies and programs aimed at making the city more welcoming to young people while encouraging them to contribute to local growth.
Registration closed for the Guiyang City-Gui'an New Area preliminary round of the "Create and Win the Future" 2026 Entrepreneurship Competition on May 7.
Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area organized 334 enterprises and public institutions to recruit 2,885 candidates for 1,206 positions at the 14th Guizhou Talent Expo, held from April 25 to 26.
The "Young Talent Visit Enterprise" program of Huaxi district was held at Yupei Group on April 22. A total of 50 graduating and current students from Guizhou City Vocational College took part in the visit and hands-on experience.
The "Chuangxiang Weilai" 2026 Entrepreneurship Competition is scheduled to take place from April to June, with registration for the Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area preliminary round opens till April 30.
A Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area recruitment fair for college graduates was held at the Beibei Campus of Southwest University on March 31.
