The China International Big Data Industry Expo 2026 (Big Data Expo 2026) is set to hold more than 20 industry exchange events under a "5+N" thematic framework, according to an announcement at a July 24 press conference for the industry exchange group.
The five themed segments are designed to interconnect and complement each other, covering the entire value chain of the token economy from production to application.
Seven industry exchange events will feature in-depth discussions on topics including "computing-electricity collaboration" and "AI empowerment".
More than 10 additional events are currently being refined, with the full schedule expected to be finalized by the end of July. Once complete, the roster of participating organizations will be more diverse, including institutes under central government ministries, national-level academic societies and associations, industry-leading corporations, and universities from across Guizhou province and beyond.
This year's expo will be organized primarily through market-oriented cooperation, with a stronger emphasis on enterprises as key drivers. Industry leaders and central-government-owned enterprises are invited to submit proposals for independently organized seminars and ecosystem partner events – shifting their role from "invited guests" to "hosts who set the stage".
The venues for industry exchange events will adopt a dual-track model, combining both on-site and off-site spaces. The main indoor venue at the Guiyang International Eco-Conference Center will be equipped with standard meeting facilities to accommodate events of various scales, while off-site venues will be managed independently by the hosting organizations.
This approach ensures a high-quality presentation of core activities while effectively extending the reach and influence of the exchange events.
