Qingzhen aims to become new hub for investment

With the goal of having its regional GDP surpass 50 billion yuan ($7.22 billion) during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30), Qingzhen city is now focusing on industrial upgrading and service enhancement to optimize its business environment and build itself as a new hub for investment.

Qingzhen plans to refine its investment mechanisms and models by enhancing the "5+3" project coordination framework, implementing strict project entry assessments, and assigning clear responsibilities to relevant departments. 

The city will utilize a diverse range of strategies, including industry chain investment, fund investment, on-site investment, and business-driven investment, to precisely target regions like the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, and the Yangtze River Delta. The aim is to attract over 100 new projects with a total contracted investment in excess of 30 billion yuan during this five-year period.

To further improve government services, Qingzhen will expand the coverage of its "one-stop online service" and implement a "first contact resolution" system as well as a feedback mechanism to enhance service efficiency. 

In terms of the local business environment, Qingzhen will address constraints related to energy, land, and talent, reduce overall business costs, and focus on key industries by establishing a "one industrial chain, one policy" service mechanism.

Qingzhen will also expand its "Enterprises' Home" services, introduce professional agencies for "one-stop" services, and advance the "Five Optimizations" reform in industrial parks to enhance project capacity.
