Qingzhen establishes integrated sports-education center

The signing ceremony for the Gui'an-Qingzhen Vocational Education City Integrated Sports-Education Center was held on Jan 26 in Qingzhen city, marking the project's transition into the implementation phase and enhancing the city's educational and sports sectors.

The ceremony saw the signing of strategic cooperation and project agreements between Guizhou Polytechnic of Construction, the Management Committee of Qingzhen Vocational Education City, and Guizhou Vocational Education City Industry-Education Integration Development Co. These agreements further clarify the collaborative directions and core objectives among government, academia, and industry in sports-education integration.

The center aims to create a modern, comprehensive service platform that integrates teaching, training, competitions, fitness, research, and industrial innovation, establishing a new development model for sports-education integration that encompasses talent cultivation, public fitness, research practice, industry incubation, and cultural heritage.

The project will regularly host events, including basketball, pickleball, and badminton tournaments, while organizing sports research and skills-training activities, providing a robust platform for advancing regional sports and enhancing vocational education.

A representative from Guizhou Polytechnic of Construction stated that the next steps involve building a full-chain education system of teaching, training, employment, and innovation, forming a replicable sports-education integration model.
