Qingzhen residents enjoy more medical services

A signing and plaque-awarding ceremony marking a specialty alliance between Qingzhen Maternal and Child Health Hospital and Shanghai Children's Medical Center Guizhou Hospital was held at the Qingzhen hospital on Jan 9.

During the ceremony, representatives from Shanghai Children's Medical Center Guizhou Hospital introduced the hospital's information and expressed their commitment to supporting the specialty capacity building of Qingzhen Maternal and Child Health Hospital. Support will include technical guidance, academic exchanges, and talent development.

Following the presentations, the two parties signed a specialty alliance agreement and held a plaque-awarding ceremony. Under the agreement, the hospitals will cooperate in areas such as discipline development, clinical research, talent training, and telemedicine.

On the same day, Qingzhen Maternal and Child Health Hospital also organized a multidisciplinary free medical consultation. An expert team from Shanghai Children's Medical Center Guizhou Hospital provided professional medical services to children and their parents attending the event.

The consultation lasted two hours and covered multiple specialties, including pediatric traditional Chinese medicine, pediatric otolaryngology, pediatric nephrology and rheumatology, pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric cardiac surgery, pediatric urology, and pediatric neurological rehabilitation.
