The Tunpu cultural dialogue, which was themed "National Unity and Cultural Integration", was held on March 15 in Qingzhen. Through guest dialogue, it delved into the history of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) Tunpu garrisons and their impact on Qingzhen culture, attracting many scholars and enthusiasts.

The event started by examining the historical background of the Qingzhen Tunpu garrisons, focusing on the establishment of the Weiqingwei Guard and Zhenxiwei Guard, the layout and characteristics of the garrisons, and the evolution of garrison fortresses. Three local scholars explained the historical context of the Ming Dynasty's garrisons and analyzed their influence on Qingzhen culture, ethnic integration, and lifestyle.

In the interactive session, participants discussed the relationship between the Weiqingwei Guard and Weiqingmen Guard in Guiyang, agricultural development, water conservancy construction, and integration of folk culture, deepening their understanding of Qingzhen's Tunpu, historical, and ethnic culture.

Qingzhen Tunpu culture can be traced back to the early Ming Dynasty, over 600 years ago. In 1390, the Ming government established the Weiqing Guard and set up 50 military garrisons in the Qingzhen area. These garrisons gradually evolved into villages, such as Huajiaopu and Gaoshanpu. Some place names are still used today, while others have changed or disappeared.

This is the 21st "Hucheng Runxin" Literary Salon in Qingzhen, guided by the Guizhou Writers Association and Guizhou Literature Institute. Qingzhen further explored and promoted the Tunpu culture through this event, providing new perspectives and impetus for promoting ethnic unity and cultural integration.
