Qingzhen First People's Hospital

Located at No 145 Xinhua Road in Qingzhen, the First People's Hospital was founded in 1951. It is a 3A general hospital, a 120 emergency center, a critically ill pregnant and lying-in women's emergency center, a critically ill newborn emergency center, Qingzhen Regional Telemedicine Center, Qingzhen Regional Chest Pain Center, and Qingzhen Stroke Prevention and Control Center. 

As one of the 500 hospitals included in the first phase of the improvement of the comprehensive capacity of county-level hospitals by the National Health Commission, the hospital has successively reached cooperation agreements with the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University and Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital.

With an area of about 16,000 square meters, the hospital now has 500 beds and more than 870 employees, including 50 with senior titles and 14 master's degree holders. There are 17 administrative function departments such as the office, medical department and nursing department; 23 clinical departments including cardiovascular medicine, neurosurgery, intensive medicine, and a hemodialysis room; 10 medical technology departments including medical imaging (including intervention room), pathological examination (including HIV primary screening laboratory) and central sterile supply department, and 7 key specialties (disciplines) including cardiovascular medicine, neurosurgery, neurology, anesthesiology, a hemodialysis center, a critical medicine center and emergency. As one of the first Internet + medical care pilot units in Guiyang, the hospital will realize the interconnection of smart hospitals in 2020.

The new branch was built in Baihua Ecological New City of Qingzhen City according to the standards for 3A hospitals. With a planned area of 193,333.32 square meters, there are 800 beds for general patients and 100 beds for patients with infectious diseases.
