Qingzhen city in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, is making solid progress in the development of its integrated urban-rural water supply projects, effectively ensuring the safety of drinking water in rural areas.
Zhanjie town has conducted thorough household inspections, focusing on the safety of drinking water for rural households.
Working groups composed of officials at the town and village levels have been formed to assess indicators, such as the water quality and the convenience of water usage. They have developed lists of issues and rectification records.
By utilizing village-level broadcasts, public bulletin boards, WeChat groups, and other media, the town extensively publicizes water safety policies and water conservation knowledge to the general public.
The masses have also been guided to maintain the safety of the local water supply and wastewater treatment facilities through the use of slogans, wall paintings, and other means of communication.
