The farm produce market of Zhanjie town in Qingzhen city, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, is frequently crowded with throngs of people, with vendors busy transporting and sorting their goods on a daily basis.
As the largest indoor farm produce market in the town, it covers a total area of 1,300 square meters, with 192 stalls now operating there.
The interior is spacious and bright, with a vast assortment of products on display.
The market has over 150 car parking spaces and 50 spaces for motorbikes and bicycles.
"The farm produce market used to be a bit of a mess, and used to take us ages to find what we were looking for," said one local resident.
"But now the stalls are better organized and well laid out. The floor isn't slippery or dirty like it used to be. And I don't need to worry about sewage splashing on my clothes, or me stepping on vegetable leaves. It's very user-friendly now for elderly people like me," he added.
