Over the course of 2023, Qingzhen city in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has renovated houses for 1,800 rural households, leveraged the vacant spaces of 105 rural households, and cultivated 180 rural architecture artisans. The ownership and right of use of 5,319 rural houses have been registered.
Ten black and odorous water bodies have been purified and treated, and 80 rural waste collection sites have been established.
The toilets of 700 rural households have been improved, and five rural public washrooms have been set up.
Various measures have been taken to persuade villagers to streamline their wedding, birthday celebration, and funeral procedures.
