Qingzhen city in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been building comprehensive public cultural service spaces for residents that include rooms for reading, singing, dancing, painting, and calligraphy, benefiting 200,000 urban residents.
Corners of streets have also been used for the installation of public sports facilities that can collect users' exercise data and give them real-time feedback. So far, the government has built 13 such sports facilities.
A total of 1,448 coaches have been trained to offer guidance to people using these facilities.
