Qingzhen holds embroidery class

A special handicraft and embroidery employment training class was recently held in Qingzhen, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, with 53 female embroiderers from Chaofeng sub-district participating.

The purpose of the class was to improve the techniques of embroiderers and inspire them to independently produce embroidery crafts with new styles and rich cultural features.

Meanwhile, the training company placed embroidery orders, leading to more jobs for embroiderers.

This class will last for three days and be overseen by Gao Chengchun, a senior handicraftsman in Guizhou. The curriculum included basic embroidery facts, composition, stitching techniques, color matching, pattern design, and creative product development.
