In the Southwest Chinese province of Guizhou, on July 22, the Liuyueliu Bouyei Ethnic Festival was held in the city of Qingzhen. The festival was a joyful celebration where members of the Bouyei community and other ethnic groups came together to sing and dance.
It has been recently announced that Qingzhen No 1 Middle School, located in Guizhou Province, has been recognized and awarded by the Bouyei Society leaders and Qingzhen government for their efforts in promoting ethnic unity and progress. This recognition has earned them the title of a provincial ethnic unity and progress demonstration school, which is a great honor and testament to their dedication and hard work. Additionally, the festival has officially commenced, marking a time of celebration and unity for the community.

Liuyueliu falls on the sixth day of the sixth month of the Chinese lunar calendar and is celebrated by many ethnic groups in China, featuring dancing, singing, and making rice dumplings and other traditional snacks.
