Qingzhen city in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has worked out various ways to create a more supportive business environment for local enterprises and individuals.
The city has set up a platform to meet enterprises' talent demands, focusing on employment and entrepreneurship among key groups such as college graduates, unemployed individuals, and those facing difficulties finding employment.
Since the beginning of this year, the city has held a total of 36 online and onsite recruitment events, with nearly 800 companies participating and offering 71,500 jobs. The recruitment events have attracted a total of 56,700 people, with 3,250 individuals expressing intent to take jobs.
Additionally, the government has provided entrepreneurial guarantee loans amounting to 24.77 million yuan ($3.44 million), which has led to the employment of 334 individuals.
A number of campaigns have been carried out as well, including a campaign encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises to prioritize the employment of college graduates.
Government affairs involving human resources and social security will now be handled more efficiently, with work procedures streamlined and the number of supporting documents reduced. Online and onsite information systems provide fairer, more convenient and more accessible public services for the public.
Efforts have also been made to make labor relations more harmonious. For example, authorities have set up a green channel for migrant worker-related disputes.
