The project has an investment of 160 million yuan ($22.4 million) and involves 15 demonstration chicken farms and 260 broiler-growing rural households. About 465,000 square meters of new chicken farms will be set up.
With the new project, Qingzhen is expected to accomplish its goal of producing 30 million broilers annually, which will contribute 1.5 billion yuan in output value and bring more than 150,000 yuan of yearly income to every rural household.
