Qingzhen holds 2nd batch of project launch ceremony

The 2023 second batch of major project launch ceremony for Qingzhen city, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, was held on May 6.

A total of 200 projects broke ground, involving a gross investment of 3.64 billion yuan ($522.7 million), including three new urbanization projects, six new industrialization projects, two modern agriculture projects, seven public welfare projects, and two business and trade projects.

The ceremony had one central venue and three sub-venues. Wu Yongkang, mayor of Qingzhen city, attended the event, highlighting the significant role played by these major industrial projects, which will drive investment expansion, industrial structure optimization, infrastructure completion, and public service improvement.
