The Qingzhen Economic & Technological Development Zone in Qingzhen city of Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has worked out measures to reduce the time, procedures, materials, and costs needed to handle government reviews, approval processes, and other government affairs.
For example, the period needed for a company to register itself has now been cut from seven to just one working day, and to now obtain a builder's license, one only needs to prepare seven documents, instead of the previous 30.
A one-stop corporate service center was set up in the zone in February 2022, helping local enterprises to handle the business registrations, construction permits, and other procedures. The center also provides consultation services regarding finance, human resources, insurance and government policies.
So far, the center has coordinated with 26 Qingzhen municipal government departments to handle 362 government cases for individuals and enterprises.
Last year, the zone recorded 20.17 billion yuan ($2.94 billion), 4.58 billion yuan, and 1.98 billion yuan in industrial output, industrial added value, and industrial investment.
