Qingzhen among most valuable cities for investment

The Third Global Promotion Event for Foreign Business Investment Attraction, held by the Global Times, which is owned by People's Daily, took place in Beijing.

Qingzhen city in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, was selected among China's top 10 most valuable counties (county-level cities and districts) for its special business brand case, becoming the only county-level city to win such an honorary title in Guizhou.

The event has been successfully held twice previously, aiming to discuss new development concepts, new industries and new growth engines. It also aims to provide a business attraction platform for all levels of government, industrial parks and enterprises.

The investment appeal index report for Chinese cities was released, having collected data from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and cities specifically designated in the State plan. The report was comprehensive and also took location advantages, economic performance, human resources, welfare guarantees, business environments and internationality into consideration.

Giving full play to its resources, industries, eco-system, talent pool and transport, Qingzhen has included business environment optimization as part of its top-down design. This has resulted in Qingzhen ranking high among the 88 districts, counties and county-level cities in Guizhou in terms of business environment.
