Qingzhen city in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has worked out measures to ensure the steady sales of local agricultural products.
Rural cooperatives and agricultural product growing bases under Qingzhen's jurisdiction have been encouraged to establish business partnerships with schools, creating direct channels for the procurement and delivery of agricultural products. At present, five vocational colleges and more than 270 primary and secondary schools have established such partnerships with cooperatives and agricultural product growing bases.
A supermarket network and a warehousing and distribution center have also been established. The number of logistic sites at county, town and village levels is also expected to increase, and will later boost the sales channels for local agricultural products.
