Special job fair held in Qingzhen

The 2023 "spring wind action" Guiyang and Guian New Area special job fair was held in Qingzhen county-level city in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 1.

The job fair, hosted by the Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security, aimed to further improve public employment services, provide public services for enterprises, and promote high-quality employment for people in Qingzhen and surrounding areas.

It was aimed at key groups such as college and university graduates in Guian, Qingzhen and surrounding areas, the rural labor force, retired soldiers, and the disabled.

The job fair attracted 120 enterprises and provided job seekers with more than 500 jobs such as equipment technicians, reserve supervisors, business sales, waiters, and cleaners.

The job fair received a total of more than 3,000 job seekers, and 615 job seekers reached employment intentions with enterprises.

Since the Guiyang and Guian 2023 "spring wind action" and employment assistance month started in January, various districts, cities and counties have carried out more than 20 job fairs providing more than 20,000 jobs and attracting more than 30,000 participants.

The event will continue until the end of March.
