Government officials from the bureau of agriculture and rural affairs in Qingzhen city, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province were recently assigned to form teams to help with pandemic prevention and control work in the city.
The work began on Sep 3, when the nucleic acid testing team consisting of 56 staff members set up testing sites, disinfected them, and conducted emergency supply work.
The material supply team was mainly established to carry out investigations on the market, and coordinate with local agricultural enterprises, cooperatives and major farmers to ensure the sufficient supply of milk, eggs, meat and vegetables for residents.
The technical guidance team was made up of experienced agricultural technicians, who offered consultation services in the production of vegetables, fruit, grain, meat and eggs.
