The 2022 Guiyang edible fungus training course was held on July 15 in Qingzhen city, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Experts from the Guizhou Academy of Sciences were invited to impart relevant knowledge to participants of the course, such as how to collect edible fungi and practical fungus growing skills. The course has enhanced people's ability to identify poisonous mushrooms.
After taking the course, participants were taken to an edible fungus demonstration growing base of a local company, which also displayed relevant processed products.
The course has strengthened people's awareness of the medical, aesthetic, and nutritional value of fungi and helped achieve Guiyang's agricultural modernization and rural vitalization goals.
