Semi-annual economic conference held

The semi-annual economic conference of Qingzhen city was held on Aug 2. Qingzhen is located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

It was pointed out at the meeting that under the firm leadership of the provincial and municipal governments, Qingzhen has been governed in an orderly manner. However, the city's industrial structure needs further optimizing and some projects did not proceed as fast as expected, while some cadres have not demonstrated the most effective leadership.

Officials were urged to fulfill the annual targets and tasks in the second half of 2022, adhere to people-oriented development concepts, maintain the hard-won results of poverty alleviation, and advance urban and rural renovation programs.
