"This is my first time visiting. The natural environment is good, and I can wake up naturally without an alarm clock and appreciate the quiet starry night," said Peng Jianguo on July 16, who, with six family members and friends, came to the Yuye Yachi River Camping Site in Xindian town of Qingzhen city, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province. Peng is based in Sichuan, a province neighboring Guizhou.
Since July 12, a lot of places in China, including Sichuan, have suffered from scorching heat. Peng shared his vacation photos on his WeChat Moments and a dozen of his friends immediately replied, expressing an intent to travel there.

As the night fell, tourists from Luzhou, Yibin, Chongqing, Bijie, Guiyang, Zunyi and other surrounding places began to prepare the barbecue at the camping site. They drank, ate, and sang to enjoy their quality time.
Boasting all kinds of camping facilities, lake-side scenery, and many fashionable games and experiences appealing to young visitors, the camping site strives to match city escapers' romantic imagination about outdoor lives. Residents dwelling in the urban area of Guiyang only need to drive for an hour to get there.
"Right now we are trying to add more activities such as fishing and fruit picking into our program," said Wang Kai, manager of the camping site.
