Qingzhen city in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been seeking to improve quality of life by enhancing digital construction and providing a series of smart services.
To date, the city has introduced nearly 20 digital enterprises and more than 100 digital economy firms, and cultivated 113 demonstration corporations for the in-depth integration of real and digital economies.
The city boasts 1,123 5G and 2,842 4G network base stations. Over the first quarter of this year, Qingzhen recorded 21.99 million yuan ($3.27 million) in sales related to internet, software and information technology services, up 52.11 percent year-on-year, with its growth rate in this area ranking third in Guiyang.
