A campaign that calls for enterprise-village collaboration was unveiled in Qingzhen city, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 28. It was attended by the city's high-ranking officials.
A specific plan on village-firm cooperation was rolled out as well, followed by a contract signing ceremony for 18 private enterprises and 14 villages.
The rural revitalization strategy is a critical decision made to respond to numerous farmers' expectation for a better life, and a vital approach to achieve the country's second centenary goal of becoming a modern socialist country by the middle of this century.
Private business owners were urged in the campaign to shoulder more social responsibilities, play active roles in the cooperation, and contribute their wisdom and resources to boost villagers' sense of gains, happiness and security.
Relevant government units are expected to push forward rural revitalization in terms of industries, talent, culture, the environment and organizations.
