Qingzhen boasts 90% business resumption rate

In the wake of the Spring Festival holiday, Qingzhen city – administered by Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – called for the quick resumption of work and production by local enterprises, in order to ensure steady progress is made during the first quarter of the year.

It is estimated that currently 90.35 percent of companies have resumed operations.

Guizhou Kelun Pharmaceutical Co, for example, now has all its staff members back at work, thanks to Guizhou's strategic guidelines and Qingzhen's efforts to optimize its business environment.

The company now boasts four production lines and is moving to expand into markets in Hainan, Qinghai and the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, while maintaining sales in neighboring provinces and areas within Guizhou.

Last year, it registered an output growth rate of 6.5 percent. The target for 2022 is to reach around 10 percent, according to the company.
