Measures taken to boost education in Qingzhen

The Qingzhen government in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has come up with specific measures to promote the high-quality development of education.  

The government will increase the supply of education resources, and further improve schools' environment, with a special focus on pre-school, primary, and secondary education. Construction work on 12 school projects initiated in 2020 will continue this year, along with eight new projects. And six newly-built schools opened to the public during the 2021 autumn semester.

Qingzhen has so far managed to recruit 360 teachers this year, and has organized more than 200 teaching research activities covering 13 disciplines and involving the participation of more than 5,000 school faculties.

Patriotic education has also been carried out in many forms to foster students' love and respect toward their motherland.

Education reform has been made a priority in Qingzhen to raise the city's education levels, by boosting cooperation and exchanges among local schools and top educational institutions outside Guizhou.

The school's security has also been upgraded to help safeguard staff and students. And the city has organized eight safety education sessions covering traffic accidents, food poisoning, drowning, and fires. Meanwhile, mental health support has been made available to students.
