Qingzhen makes headway in tackling road safety

A new transport model has been implemented in Qingzhen, with traffic police officers transferred to the police stations of specific towns. Road sections vulnerable to accidents have been registered and assigned to specific government officials to take care of them. They are responsible for issuing revamped plans for these sections within certain time limits. 

Meanwhile, the road security work will be included as a part of Qingzhen's overall security assessment, in order to safeguard the lives of locals and their properties. 

To date, 30 transport coordinators have been hired by the government and more than 20 transportation police officers have been assigned to towns. 

Solutions for the 12 registered dangerous road sections have also been put in place.
