A project signing ceremony to facilitate the high-quality economic development was held on June 30 in Qingzhen, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, with eight projects signed.
The projects cover such areas as new materials, industrial materials applications and wind power, involving a total investment of 6.45 billion yuan ($967.5 million).
Located in the core part of the central Guizhou urban agglomeration, Qingzhen boasts huge amount of mineral resources, solid industrial foundation, convenient transports and breath-taking natural landscapes.
During the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-20), Qingzhen registered an average annual economic growth of 9.7 percent, with the total output of enterprises above a designated size and the added value of its service sectors ranking top among cities in Guizhou.
Qingzhen has been selected as one of China's top 10 counties with the most favorable business environment in 2019, as one of China's top 10 counties with the most preferential investment environment in 2020, and as one of China's top 10 counties with the biggest development potential in 2021.
The Qingzhen government will constantly deepen the integration of integrity with the government affairs, markets, laws, democracy and humanity, to create the top-class market-oriented, law-based and international business environment.
Government bodies and officials are being urged to be more open to the outside world, redouble their efforts with regards to reforms, issue more expedient policies and offer quality services to enterprises, in order to ensure the early completion and operation of the projects that are signed.
