Guizhou delegation to the second China-CEEC Expo held an investment promotion activity on June 9 in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province.
Representatives of 12 overseas-funded enterprises and five Ningbo-based export-oriented trade promotion institutions attended the event.
During a dialogue session for idea exchanges between enterprises, Qingzhen, a county-level city in Guiyang, Guizhou province, was praised by Yao Zhiming, vice president of Shanshan Group Co, a Hong Kong-based enterprise.
While discussing the Guiyang Shanshan Outlet Plaza project, Yao gave the thumbs up to Qingzhen's business environment and its highly efficient government services.
Under the consistent support of the Guiyang and Qingzhen governments, the project's power supply has been guaranteed. Green channels have also been created for the project's operation licensing procedures.
As one of the county's major business projects, the construction of the plaza has also enjoyed a set of favorable policies issued by the local government.
Occupying an area of 150 mu (10 hectares), the project involves an investment of 3 billion yuan ($450 million), and will achieve an annual turnover of more than 1.5 billion yuan when put into use.
The plaza will reportedly increase local tax revenue by over 50 million yuan annually and offer around 2,000 job vacancies.
