Government-firm cooperation writes new chapter in Qingzhen's development

The Zhongshan village government affairs hall in Qingzhen's Hongfenghu town now features a big playground, a tidy working environment and well-equipped offices. It is hard to imagine that the hall used to have a muddy front gate, and was plagued by water leaks and drafts.

The hall needed renovation for years, but the reconstruction plan was postponed due to lack of funds. In fact, in addition to Zhongshan village, two other villages in the same town – Bianshan village and Tangbian village – also faced the same problem.

The CPC Hongfenghu town committee decided to approach Qingzhen Public Housing Construction Investment Co in 2020, and persuaded the company to donate 100,000 yuan towards fulfilling the construction of government affairs halls for all three villages.

After the fund was in place, the local government of Zhongshan village rebuilt the hall, making it suitable for multiple purposes – there are a convenience service room, and activity rooms for the Party members, veterans and stay-at-home children of the village.

The Hongfenghu government activated social resources to achieve a win-win outcome. Moving forward, the town will launch more in-depth collaborations with companies in various fields, based on its geographical advantages and ample natural resources.
