The reconstruction of the G320 Huayudong Bridge in Qingzhen -- a county-level city in Southwest China's Guizhou province -- will be completed in June this year, according to a local report on April 18.

The project demolished and reconstructed the original structure and the new bridge will cross Hongfeng Lake in Qingzhen.

After completion, it will be the first highway basket-type steel pipe arch bridge in Guizhou. The reconstructed bridge with motorways and sidewalks will be 270 meters long and 12.5 meters wide.

The concept for a green development was put forward during its planning, with new technologies and techniques applied to realize zero pollution in the water environment of the construction area. In addition, the reconstruction project obtained five utility model invention patents.
