Qingzhen launches publicity campaign to record rural progress

Qingzhen, a county-level city of Guiyang, Guizhou province, has launched a publicity campaign to record how the countryside has been revitalized during the past decade, according to local media reports on April 7.

The campaign has been organized to celebrate the centenary of the Party's founding, as well as to make a fresh start to the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period.

The government will pull online and offline mainstream and social media resources together to roll out photographic exhibitions, stage cultural and artistic performances, and turn stories into short films and promotional videos, all of which will be themed around the tremendous changes that have been seen in rural areas.

With a focus on people's lives, the campaign will integrate words, pictures, videos, events and interactions to explore the changes from multiple perspectives.

The year of 2020 witnessed many fruitful results achieved by Qingzhen. The county-level city not only reported a higher economic performance, but also made concrete progress in terms of its rural living environment, infrastructure, modernization and sustainable industrialization.
