The publicity department of the CPC Qingzhen Committee, the Guizhou Filmmaker Association and a local business management company have signed an agreement that requires the three sides to collaborate in the film and television industry chain. The deal involves the filming, editing, marketing and publicity of movies or TV programs, and is intended to achieve mutual benefits and enhance the interests of the signatories.
Qingzhen's government has been giving special attention to local filmmaking, taking full advantage of Qingzhen's authentic ethnic traditions and unique natural environment.
The film Goodbye, Stranger was filmed in the area with the support of Qingzhen's government in an effort to enhance the county's soft power and generate interest among potential visitors. The film touches on the important subject of child abduction.
