Cherry trees in Aohe village of Qingzhen city, a county-level city in Southwest China's Guizhou province, have recently begun blooming, attracting crowds of visitors every day.
The village is at a low elevation in a cool valley, where the cherry trees blossom earlier than other places. This year, the cherry trees bloomed 10 days earlier than last year.
Since 2014, the villagers on both sides of the Aohe River have planted many cherry trees. As of now, the cherry planting area has exceeded 666 hectares.
