Qingzhen stages event to raise awareness about rule of law

Qingzhen -- a county level city in Southwest China's Guizhou province -- recently staged an event to raise the public's awareness of the rule of law and promote a better understanding of related regulations and policies. 

The activity was led by the commission for political and law affairs of the Qingzhen municipal Party committee, with the help of the Qingzhen justice bureau and the Chaofeng sub-district office. 

The event promoted the Civil Code, the Constitution and political and legal-related work by distributing brochures, other publicity materials and conducting on-site legal consultations. 

About 200 people participated in the event, which enabled Qingzhen's political and legal authorities to introduce laws and regulations to the wider community and to enterprises.
