The 2020 Guizhou sub-plateau cross-country challenge was held in Qingzhen, a county-level city in Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Nov 8.
The one-day competition was sponsored by the Guizhou Mountaineering Association and the nationwide physical fitness program steering committee of Qingzhen city and organized by the Qingzhen bureau of culture, sports, broadcasting, television and tourism.
The running track was 21.5 kilometers long, passing through the local Guangming Ecological Park, Wangjiazhai village and Dachong Primary School.
More than 400 competitors from all over the province set off from Qingzhen's water sports center and the scenery along the way provided a wonderful backdrop for the competition.
After a fierce race, Zhang Ting from the Liya running team and Zhang Xuekang from the Baimayoupao Running Club won the women's and men's titles, respectively.
